We collect your photos, slides, negatives or video tapes directly from your home in Cape Town, safely packed and handled with care.
We scan and enhance your items
Each item is professionally digitised using specialist equipment, with gentle enhancements for clarity, colour and detail where needed.
Receive your originals and digital copies
Your originals are returned in the same order, with digital copies on a USB and your private Momento Gallery.
All of this, completed within 7 days of collection.

What do I get back?
You’ll receive a USB with all your high-quality scans, plus access to your private online Momento Gallery. Your original photos are also safely returned. See what yours could look like in our sample albums.
Everything is clearly organised and easy to share with family and friends.
How much does it cost?
Photo scanning ranges from R3 to R5 per photo depending on volume. Slides and negatives start from R8 per slide, and video tapes are priced per tape or reel. You’ll receive a full estimate before we begin digitising — no surprises. See full pricing here.
How should I pack my photos for collection?
Group and label your photos or slides with elastic bands, envelopes or in boxes — we’ll handle them carefully and keep each batch together in your Momento Gallery.
If photos are still in albums, we can remove them for R1.50 per photo, though we recommend doing this yourself so you can choose the order. We don’t place photos back into albums after scanning. Slides and negatives can remain in their original boxes or trays.
For video tapes and film reels, simply bring them as they are and label each one if you’d like them organised separately in your digital folders.
When do I pay — before or after digitisation?
No upfront payment is required. Once your digitisation is complete, we’ll send a preview together with your final invoice. Your digital files are shared once payment has been made.
Do you keep a backup of my scans?
Yes — we securely store a copy of your digital scans for 3 months. If you lose your USB or need another version, we can resend it at any time during that period.
Can I gift this service to someone else?
Absolutely! We offer flexible or pre-paid gift cards — perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, or helping a loved one preserve their memories.
